  8. Callandra and Mr. PEMS -- this is AMAZING! Great job on both the designing and the construction. I think an extra bedroom to turn into a closet just went on the top of my wishlist when I buy a house ;)

  10. Wow, I am about to embark on a similar project and this has given me some great ideas. Sadly Mr Z is no Mr PEMS in the home reno skills department ;-)

  13. By the way, I can totally see a fabulous leather shag rug and a cozy, upholstered ottoman or bench (that matches the drapery) in the middle of this room.

  17. Yay....my dream when we get an actual house is to turn an extra bedroom into one giant closet and paint the walls bright pink with black and white accents, complete with giant mirror and chandelier.....Love it Callandra! :)

  28. Amazing job!! I am seriously coveting your closet. Please keep those curtains closed to keep the sun from fading your clothes.

  29. Thank you all so much and thank you most of all to Mr. PEMS (who can't stop smiling since reading all of your admiring comments ;)

Anon, This is actually a small front room that we turned into a closet.

We are definitely on the same wave length Kish, I think you echoed my thoughts exactly!

No photo studio yet Kelly (that's our next project) Joking! Lol

Hi Kathleen, I am storing bags in the drawers you see under the dresses and also above the single wall hanger on the mirror side.

I laughed out loud when I read your comment Ping, that is too funny!!

    Good tip Anon, thank you!

  32. Beautiful!! I did something similar but I could never find a nice 3-way mirror. Where did you get yours?

I always worry about closets that have windows because of possible sun fading. Your treatments are gorgeous, but you might also consider putting a film on the glass...just a thought.

  33. Hi Allie! I actually bought three seperate mirrors and my husband mounted the middle mirror on the wall and the two on the sides are mounted on hinges so they can swing. I didn't even think about the windows actually, but it definitely is a concern for sure!
