Thanks to the seemingly limitless talents of Mr. PEMS (aka....Mr. Amazing) I can finally see all of my clothes together in one closet!
I can't tell you guys how excited and grateful I feel right now, for me this really is a dream come true!
Hope you all are having an amazing weekend ;)
Exciting!! He did a great job!! I love the extra touches like the curtains, lighting, and moulding!! And a three-way mirror! Awesome!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!! :)
Callandra, this is a walking closet? From the first several pictures it looks like you are converting your kitchen to a closet. lol. Wow, how nice of Mr. Amazing! Do you feel like a princess now? Your shoe collection is WOW!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness - what a dream! Mr. Amazing certainly deserves that title. This seriously looks like a section of a little boutique. Enjoy!
ReplyDeletea cleaner closet
LOVE the shoe rack by the window! Mr. Amazing truly did an amazing job! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, that is amazing and I'm drooling with envy over all that space!! ;)
ReplyDeleteJealous! that's incredible. Mr. Amazing deserves a big thank you!
ReplyDeleteCan you tell us if you moved and turn one of your rooms into a dressing room? It doesn't look like a closet. It's definitely a girl's-dream-come-true!
ReplyDeleteCallandra and Mr. PEMS -- this is AMAZING! Great job on both the designing and the construction. I think an extra bedroom to turn into a closet just went on the top of my wishlist when I buy a house ;)
ReplyDeleteAhhh LOOVE! I've always wanted to convert a room into just my closet but our last house and current house didn't have enough bedrooms :( Definitely something I NEED in the future ;)
ReplyDeleteWow, I am about to embark on a similar project and this has given me some great ideas. Sadly Mr Z is no Mr PEMS in the home reno skills department ;-)
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of you weekly outfits posts as well. Thanks for sharing!
Wow!!! Looks amazing. Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! Gorgeous...remarkable...This is definitely a fashionista's dream come true! Two thumbs up to the Mr.!
ReplyDeleteSo...when we buy our next house, I'll have this to show to my husband as a model of what I want!
By the way, I can totally see a fabulous leather shag rug and a cozy, upholstered ottoman or bench (that matches the drapery) in the middle of this room.
ReplyDeleteWow Calandra, this is amazing job! Enjoy and look forward to your creative posts from this fabulous closet.
ReplyDelete:D brilliant idea!
ReplyDeleteChristine
Wow. I mean wow!! You are one lucky woman. :)
ReplyDeleteYay....my dream when we get an actual house is to turn an extra bedroom into one giant closet and paint the walls bright pink with black and white accents, complete with giant mirror and chandelier.....Love it Callandra! :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous closet!!
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic!! I hope you don't mind if I move in with you, lol.
ReplyDeleteHoly moly! Echoing Vicky ... this is a "closet" ? This is the size of my entire apartment! Mr. PEMS did an amazing job. It's now a closet fit for a queen! And you shoe rack...oh my.
ReplyDeleteOMG, what an amazing job!! I am so so jealous of all that space you now have.
ReplyDeletexo, alison*elle
I gasped aloud when I saw this. (1) He did a phenomenal job, (2) The breadth of your closet is to die for! Jealous!
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Enjoy :)
ReplyDeleteAh-mah-zing! I am so incredibly jealous right now. Did Mr. PEMS also install a photo studio for blog outfit shots? ;)
ReplyDeleteWow- Mr. PEMS is sure handy! It looks phenomenal!!!
ReplyDeleteLove it!!! :}
You surely are blessed! How wonderful for you! Where are your handbags?
ReplyDeleteWow.. looks fabulous and big (more like a walking room closet than just a regular walking closet) – so jealous :-).. I love the black drapes. Mr. PEMS surely is talented.
ReplyDeletecallandra-- when i saw the amazing work that Mr. PEMS did this weekend, i has to show my bf. i was like look at what he did for callandra....he goes wow amazing. it was suppose to be a hint for him, but i'm guessing he didn't get it because he went back to watching sports. LOL!
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgous!!! I'm in love with it and green w/ envy : )
ReplyDeleteAmazing job!! I am seriously coveting your closet. Please keep those curtains closed to keep the sun from fading your clothes.
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much and thank you most of all to Mr. PEMS (who can't stop smiling since reading all of your admiring comments ;)
ReplyDeleteAnon, This is actually a small front room that we turned into a closet.
We are definitely on the same wave length Kish, I think you echoed my thoughts exactly!
No photo studio yet Kelly (that's our next project) Joking! Lol
Hi Kathleen, I am storing bags in the drawers you see under the dresses and also above the single wall hanger on the mirror side.
I laughed out loud when I read your comment Ping, that is too funny!!
Good tip Anon, thank you!
Wow...Loving this walk-in closet renovation! Impressive work on the hubby's part and so fun for you!
ReplyDeleteThanks Leah!! (His work always impresses me ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! I did something similar but I could never find a nice 3-way mirror. Where did you get yours?
ReplyDeleteI always worry about closets that have windows because of possible sun fading. Your treatments are gorgeous, but you might also consider putting a film on the glass...just a thought.
Hi Allie! I actually bought three seperate mirrors and my husband mounted the middle mirror on the wall and the two on the sides are mounted on hinges so they can swing. I didn't even think about the windows actually, but it definitely is a concern for sure!
ReplyDeleteHubs did an awesome job! What a dream closet! Which closet shelving did you use? I love the corner rounded rod! Where did you purchase the shelving?
ReplyDeleteHi Anon!Thank you...He really did, didn't he?!! we used the closet maid shelving from home depot in the nickel color.
ReplyDeleteI really love it! I am moving into a new home and need to design the master closet in a way to maximize the space! I will definitely look at the line at home depot and start making measurements! -j
ReplyDeleteWonderful Anon, hope it comes out just like you want ;)
ReplyDeleteyour closet is AMAZING!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sandy!
DeleteHi!!! I'm currently renovating my house and remembered I had bookmarked your amazing closet. Can you tell me where you got your shoe rack? Also, how do you access your shoes that are at the very top?
ReplyDeleteHello Jacqueline! Congratulations on your renovations, that's always sooo exciting! I bought my shoe racks at Home Depot and I access my top racks with a little step stool. Best of luck with your DIY job ;)
Deletethat 3-way mirror idea is just awesome...and so is your entire closet! especially the shoe rack.
