I stubbed my toe on the coffee table last week and tore a chunk out of it, so wearing shoes was a bit of a challenge this week.  I survived by wearing sandals quite a lot.  Even the weather seemed to offer it's commiserations by offering balmy 60 degree weather for most of the week :)  .....Almost worth it for the weather, but not really (totally was though)! Lol

Have a great Friday beautiful girls!

  1. I have the same watch from Francesca's. Love that place- boutique shopping without boutique pricing!! Happy to see another teeny-tiny person's blog!

  2. oh no!!!! i hope you're toe is feeling better. when i first started cooking a few months ago, i cut a good chunk off my finger. that was no fun too.

you got some great pieces from WHBM! i gotta check them out. i love that b&w AT sweater. hmm they are having a 30% off sweater today. i'm going to see if they small sizes left.

    1. That's sounds very painful Ping, I hope it's mended now! The AT sweater runs big so you'll definitely want to get the smallest size you can ;)

  3. So sorry to hear about your toe! That is the worst...:-(

  4. I have been on-the-fence about that J. Crew skirt for quite some time and now I'm angry I didn't buy it in pink when it was available. I was worried it would be too big! -Marissa

    1. Hi Marissa! I have to admit that I was shocked at how small this skirt was when I received it. I bought the 00p but I'm pretty sure a reg 00 would have been a better fit....(I got a great price but had to settle for final sale) :(

  5. Ouch! That does not sound fun!

I love your colorblocked shoes!! The leopard clutch with stripes outfits is my favorite!! :)

  7. You wore that J.Crew skirt way better than the model =) I've been eyeing that skirt forever but wasn't sure what size I would need. Final sale is always a scary thing. Thanks for the heads up. Have a great weekend!

  8. I look forward to your weekly recaps! You have amazing style. :) I love how you could incorporate those sandal wedges with multiple outfits for the week!

And I agree with Sydney: You wear that J. Crew skirt so much better than on the model!

Hope your toe gets better.. haha. Have a great weekend!!!

  11. Hands down my favorite is the colorblocked dress from WHBM .. ( I bandwagon with everything that comes along : ) Have to say I'm liking the colorblocked wedge sandals too ( of course : ) But they just add so much to each look while still mainting the mono look.. love it!!!

  12. I like your style very much, Callandra! May I ask what's your monthly budget for clothes and accessories? You seem to have a never-ending closet!!! Do you only purchase on sale? Online? What are your best tips when it comes to shopping, not necessarily for petite size clothes? Thanks! (I don't know what happened, I posted a comment last week but it never ended up appearing on the list).

  13. Thank you Isa! I don't have a set budget for montly clothing but I do like to go months without buying in order to save up for larger purchases. Quality trumps quantity everytime ;) That being said, never pay retail and hang onto reciepts for price adjustments. Never pay for shipping and only shop trends at extreme discount! I'm sorry I never saw your comment from last week but I'm so glad to get your comment now ;)

  14. You always look so gorgeous in dresses! I thought the first one must be from Ann Taylor but then saw it's WHBM. It's a classy and elegant look that suits you perfectly. :)

Aw, sorry to read about your toe. At least it's good that the weather co-operated and you could wear sandals!

  15. Ouch, I hope your toe heals! Great that you can wear sandals. It's been pretty warm here in Toronto but not THAT warm :P

How is the sizing at WHBM? I have one top from there and it is big on me. It's a strapless tank so I have to wear a strapless bra and "stuff" it a little LOL!

    1. The weather is back in the 40's this week :( Although I really can't complain! Lol The sizing at WHBM is one of the most consistent that I have found. I will say that their fuller skirts do seem to run slightly larger than their pencil skirts. I stay away from their strapless and thin strap tops and I do have to have their blouses shortened and regular length sleeves hemmed.

  16. Oh! So sorry to hear about the toe stub, poor girl :( I always love to hear what my readers think so thank you for stopping by and sharing our shoe suggestions :)

  17. I bought that J.Crew skirt in navy and it look horrendous on me. I think you have to be taller and have longer legs like you to pull it off. You look amazing in all the outfits!

    1. Thank you annie! (I have to tell you Mr. PEMS doesn't like that skirt on me either) I think you're right, it definitely looks better on a longer leg line but I'll probably still wear mine anyways......Lol

  18. I love both black dresses on you and those WHBM shoes! I had no idea they even made shoes but am going to make sure to check next time. You look fantastic in all of these shots :)
