I am loving the neon trend going on right now, and am particularly in love with the color citron. (neon yellow ;) So when Marion posted her neon challange link up, I said I was definitely in!
I was hoping to purchase the JCrew No.2 Pencil Skirt in Citron in time for this post but the cost of $110.00 kept me holding out for a sale or promo. (Ironically, it is on sale now for $89.50). The color online looks a bit more yellow to me than the skirt that I tried on in the store, which looked like a neon yellow with a hint of green. Thank you for checking out my contribution to the neon challange and please make sure to follow this link to Marionberry Style to check out the other participants!

ReplyDeletePS - I pulled the trigger on the citron No. 2 pencil skirt today. Crossing my fingers that it'll work out!
Whoo Hoo Cee! Now I get to see how you style it, I'm so excited right now!
DeleteI love this look, especially the neon yellow belt against the black! Thanks for stopping by my blog and for commenting. To answer your question, I bought my neon purse from Forever 21 a couple months ago. I looked and they are no longer selling it on their website but you might still be able to find it in a store. Have a great day!

DeleteHi, um, i've just come across your blog recently. And you're so gooooooood at putting together all these outfits!
ReplyDeletemmhm, there's just this one question i have, that has plagued me for a long time...When wearing skirts how to avoid Visible Panty line?
Hello Anon! Thank you for leaving me a comment ;) For most skirts vpl is not an issue but if you're wearing more of a pencil shape or special needs material, you can always wear seamless thongs or more of a spanx style undergarment.
DeleteI'm adding neon in small doses. Here's one of my posts with just a small neon bag I got really cheap at Old Navy:

Hi Niki! Thanks so much for stopping by ;) I checked out your post from the link you left and I definitely like your color mixings. DeleteI love the outfit! It doesnt scream loud to me. And thank you for your kind words on my previous post. I'm really glad you found the Gianni Bini's nude sandals. I never thought that anyone would google or ebay the things I own so when I saw your message, I was so excited! Thank you, Callandra! And I'm sorry for not being able to find the stores that sold them online. I bought them at Dillards, is that where you found them?
ReplyDeleteWhen I found those I knew I had to send you a note! Lol Actually ran across them in a boutique downtown......I immediately snatched them up and didn't put them down 'till I got to the cash register ;)
