Well, my style icon is definitely not petite, and we would have the same body type if I added 7 inches to my height with no added weight! Lol Her inner beauty was as bright as her outer beauty, and her style transcended decades. Of course I am speaking of the ever fabulous, Audrey Hepburn.
When I first saw this suit I was immediately drawn to the wide lapels and bracelet length sleeves. I love special details that add visual interest to an outfit without having to add or accessorize very much myself. This suit definitely strikes me as "vintage" looking, but it is easily mixed with denim and floral prints for a more modern look if desired.

I swear I always thought you had an Audrey Hepburn thing going even before you did this challenge. You remind me of her so much and you definitely captured her essence with your outfit. Sigh, I want to be this sophisticated one day. :)

ReplyDeletewhoa whoa whoa your face in the first picture and Aubrey's are SO similar! You both have striking bone structure and features. I love this outfit, only thing I'd add to channel more Aubrey are some pearls or a choker necklace.

Love the suit! I like the addition of patent in the shoe too. I could see this w/ wrist length gloves (picture a peal bracelet on top) and a great Kelly bag to complete it : )

Where I live, I would feel weird walking around wearing outfits like this though, since I'll be gawked on by people in sweats and jeans. haha. But I can definitely see you wear the pieces separately for more casual styles :)
