So Bubbi and I did a 5K together this morning for a community charity so this last outfit totally counts! 

It was pretty obvious when we rolled up to the parking lot that we weren't the serious runner's in the group.  There were numerous fabulous looking running ensembles and techy looking devices being worn on toned arms all around us. 

Bubbi had managed to find what resembled lounge pants to wear at the bottom of his drawer and had to buy a pair of sneaks the night before! Lol 

Seriously, we had a really great time and celebrated our triumph later at an ice cream parlour ;)





Outfit Recap for Third Week of June

I don't know about you guys, but I find myself to be the most challenged regarding what to wear when it's raining insanely outside.  I want to look stylish and occasion appropriate but also remain dry and comfortable.  Do any of you guys have a perfect chic rainy day outfit that you can share? 

As usual I'm posting this 43 minutes past my regularly scheduled bed time so please leave any questions regarding outfit details below.

Wedding Outfit Help (Again)

Here we go again.  You guys were so helpful with my last wedding SOS and I can't tell you how much I appreciate your input with a couple of more options.

The first dress is a trapeze dress I bought from Banana Republic a couple of years ago.  It can either be worn in full trapeze or there is a tiny leather flower belt that belts in front and the captures the inside lining.  It's hard to explain so here's a picture of the dress in full trapeze.

And here is a picture of the dress belted.  I've also tried it with different shoes...........let me know which of those you prefer as well please.

You can see in this picture how the belt wraps underneath the top layer......very '70's glam I think.

Next is a Michael Kors dress I bought two years ago at an outlet on vacation. 

This dress got Mr. PEMS's vote but I think that he may just prefer the dress in general, rather than for the wedding in particular it's hard to tell with guys sometime.

It's between these two dresses here and the pink dress here from the first wedding outfit post.  So what do you guys think?

Outfit Recap for Second Week of June

Imagine orange Francesa bag w/ striped maxi outfit, a much better option for sure!

I almost never dress this plainly, but this week I seemed to be all about the simple look.  Not sure if my style is changing or if I'm just in a different mood......I guess time will tell. 

A couple of notes about the outfits above, the striped knit maxi dress is actually the White House Black Market maxi skirt I wore last week in this post here and the silk F21 blouse is actually a dress that I''ve worn as a blouse before in this post here and you can see the dress on it's own here.

You guys were amazingly helpful on my Wedding Dress SOS, thank you all so much!  Would you completely kill me if I threw another couple of dresses into the mix?  Let me know if you want to see a couple more options that I just thought of.  Can't believe I didn't think of them sooner!

Wedding Outfit Help / Smashion Interview

Hi Guys!  This is an SOS for my cousin's wedding coming up at the end of next week.  The wedding will be outside in a beautiful park and I'm thinking the reception will be as well. 

I am torn about which dress to wear and was hoping I could count on my lovely fashion friends to steer me in the right direction. 

So here is the first contestant.  Bought from Target's international designer line when it made it's first appearance a couple of years ago.

Oh!  Also, if you guys have recommendations for shoes and jewelry I'd appreciate your suggestions for sure!

Here is the next dress.......bought from f21 last year.  You guys have seen it before.  It hasn't gotten a lot of wear but I totally love it too.

Did I seriously carry the same bag five days out of seven?!  Ummmm...yes I did!  This TJmaxx impulse, saw it, loved it, had to have it bag has carried me through the past two weeks and I didn't even know that it was missing from my bag repertoire.
