Outfit Recap

Time is flying by so quickly, I thought I'd do a quick outfit recap to capture a few ensembles I've missed.

One thing I wanted to make sure and mention..............It's true, I'm wearing the same skirt in the first and last pictures.  I seriously can't get enough of this Forever 21 Paisley Woven Skirt.  I bought the extra small and still had to have the waist altered down (probably because it's from their "Love 21" line that runs a tad larger) but it was definitely worth it!

These caged sandals are fabulous and soooo comfortable.  I've worn them three days in a row already and I can't do that with some of my more expensive brands.  Online at F21 here.  The online color looks slightly orangish, but they're really more of a tan/brown.  They remind of the Nine West Felicidad caged sandal that Michelle reviewed here

Also, if you noticed a pink hem peeking out from under my new Tucker for Target Floral Dress it's because I used the Loft Zip Pocket Sleeveless Dress as a slip underneath!  The color and fit was perfect and how great to have a dress do double duty?!!  (I'll style it on it's own soon so you guys can gauge the fit).

That's all for now ;)

The deadline for the 6th Petite Fashion Challenge is tomorrow at March 24, 5PM PST (8:00 PM EST).  These challenges are always so much fun and this one is being hosted by Jess at Stylepint.  Make sure to check it out!!

Please leave a comment if you need outfit details, I was too lazy to try to capture everything! Lol

  3. Can you provide the brand and style name of the jean in pics.? Thanks. It looks wonderful on you and is exactly the kind of fit I've been searching for. Cut close to body and leg but not jegging skin tight.

  4. So many things to say....The skirt is beautiful and looks great on you. The shoes look a lot more expensive than F21! I love the way you accessorized the sheer blouse with the statement necklace. That orange-y purse is ridiculously gorgeous (and so is the grey one, as a matter of fact). Lastly, the blouse in the first pic is breathtaking. Once again, Callandra, you inspire me!!

Thanks for checking me out ;)

Thanks so much Tara....I really love both of them!

Hi Anonymous, The Jeans are the slim fit from the Loft Outlet and the style number is S 251169 SZ 009 Hope you can locate them. The Loft Outlet will ship to you free if you have one of their cards ;)

  8. I love your striped top in pictures 3 & 4. Did you get it recently? Would you mind sharing where?

I really like your style! I found you through a Loft post on FB and it's been fun looking through your previous posts. Lots of inspiration!

  9. Interchanging the dress as a slip too?! I have never thought of that before! I love your first and last outfits the best. I had to double check on the paisley skirt since it looked totally different from the previous outfit! Looks like it was well worth the tailoring job. =0D

  10. Thank you Heather!!

Hi Dee, The striped top is from Old Navy...I want to say 2009?...but it could be from 2008 (Sorry I can't remember for sure). It came in a navy, bright red and green that I can remember. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment, I really appreciate it ;)

Totally by chance Hannah! I saw them hanging next to each other and had an "AH-HA" moment! hee I'm so glad you didn't notice that I wore the skirt twice (not that there's anything wrong with that ;) I'm just glad the tops changed it up so much.

  13. Love, love , love every outfit!! Most of all love the sandals! I am going to order them right now, do they fit true to size? I see they only offer whole sizes and I am a 6.5...not sure if I ahould get the 6 or 7?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hi Anonymous, That jacket is from Forever 21 (still in stores I believe ;)

You're very Welcome for the jean pant info!

Hi Krissy, They fit true to size. I usually wear a 5.5 and these are just the tiniest bit big on me....doesn't create a problem though...probably because of the caged top. Thanks for leaving a comment ;)

    Thanks Mitr!

  15. I really love your look! You seem to have the best coloring of anyone around. Every color looks good on you! I've seen that Tucker for Target dress on a bunch of people, but you're the only person that's making me want to go try it on.
Is this a make-up secret that you've got? If so, please blog about it so we can make the world a prettier place. :)

  18. Callandra...PLEASE!!! you must stop this insanity! I love everything you're wearing. I cannot spend 20 min lusting over every little detail while at work, but i must tell you that I'm forever a fan of your blog b/c of posts like this one.

p.s. where did you get the first blouse?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Oh Linda, you're so sweet ....have to chalk it up to photo editing! Lol I seriously know nothing about makeup, so my techniques would be rudimentary at best!

Oh good Krissy!....I'm so glad that worked out for you ;)

    Thanks so much Christine!

Awww....Thank you Aubrey! And I'm so glad to get some feedback on favorite types of posts! Btw, the blouse in the first picture is actually a dress from forever 21 that I bought on E-bay!

  20. Lol! When you described your sandals I was jealous...they sound more comfortable than mine! I ended up keeping mine because I was too lazy to go down to the mall to return them by the exchange date...which means I also kept the open-toe booties which are getting lots and lots of wear! The caged sandals...only once, they killed my feet! But they have recovered now and may try them again! :p

I agree wth Aubrey...you are driving us mad with all these great outfits!! You look amazing in everything, and as always, love the poses. There is something missing, though...kitties!!! :p Must have been snoozing.

Where is the pink-ish blouse from?
