ReplyDeleteand thanks for the giveaway. i follow via GFC, of course. my fave item is the Pegasus Necklace!
You always look so perfectly put-together. I'm starting grad school at the end of this month and I really want to create a more professional/sophisticated yet budget conscious wardrobe like yours!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite piece from the 2011 collection is the Chantilly Lace Cuff. Thanks for thie giveaway! Love all your outfits!
ReplyDeleteAwesome outfits as usual! I'm really liking the simplicity of the Pyramid Double Wrap Bracelet in Green. Great for everyday :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful outfits as always!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Stella & Dot item is the Isadora Necklace - so pretty!
You always have the best accessories. Love it. And I returned the one sequin top i bought b/c I was afraid it was too much. Love how you paired that one.
ReplyDeleteAs for the giveaway - I already follow your blog.
I have 2 faves from the collection: the chantilly lace cuff and the Marchesa Necklace
ReplyDeleteI love all of your outfits and how you accessorize! My favorite is outfit #1.
ReplyDeleteThis is my 1st attempt at a giveaway but the jewels are so pretty I have to give it a shot! I love the Fringe Hoop Earrings.
I follow your blog and I liked the FB page!
Oh Calladra, you make it harder and harder. I like almost all of them. :) THe banana dress with militaty jacket looks so stylish. The loft top with open vest and the loft dress are so elegant, my all time favorite styles. Oh, I can't pass the banana tulip skirt with loft top, they look so cute on you.... Sigh, didn't I say I like all of them? :)
ReplyDeleteBTW, you look awesome with the new hair style in the last picture.
Thanks for the giveaway. I like Jacqueline necklace, very rare to see this nude color and it's so so elegant.
Thanks so much for hosting this giveaway. I have admired Stella and Dot jewelry from afar but have not yet pulled the trigger despite the fact that I'm in love with so many of their pieces. I adore the Chelsea necklace, I could definitely incorporate into many different outfits.
ReplyDeleteI am a follower of your blog and I liked the FB page!
Thanks!
Did you know your closet makeover is famous? Even my bf's dad someonehow found that blog post through my blogroll and was chatting with us about it LOL
ReplyDeletelove the infinity charm necklace :)
ReplyDeleteso many great outfits this week. i really love the first one, especially! i dont know how you do it every morning!!
Love love the Marchesa necklace! You have such great style :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to need you to give me some lessons on accessorizing! Seriously! I have lots of accessories, but I can't seem to ever "pile them on" nicely and make them look effortless like you do. I usually just give up and gravitate toward the same pieces and/or combination: hoop earrings (which are my staple), one or two bracelets on my left wrist, and maybe a necklace.
ReplyDeleteThis may be a weird request, but I'm always curious how other bloggers go about choosing their accessories for an outfit...can you give a tutorial, Callandra? Or shoot me an email or something...I just need some help!
Love most of your outfits this week but my faves are # 2, 3 & 5. And love the picture that you took in your beautiful new new closet!
ReplyDeleteI like the first pic of you sitting in your closet...hehehe
ReplyDeleteSo many cute outfits-how do I choose a fave? :D
OMG,you should be a professional stylist. I am 50 years old and still have a hard time putting an outfit together, especially accessories. I just recently found your website. Wish I could have you help me pick out my clothes. It's a hard age, dont want to look matronly or look 17 years old either. Thanks for the great pics and ideas.
ReplyDeleteGreat looks!! Love the Target shoes!!! They are rocking!! They make me think of a similiar style from Ash - w/ a non similiar price tag : ) I love the nude necklace from Stella and Dot! It's so special in that color!! My fav look from this week? The cream sheath w/ the leopard belt and coral bag! The combo is genius!
ReplyDeleteThanks everybody for such sweet comments and for entering this giveaway ;) .....it doesn't end 'till Friday the 12th so make sure to get your entry in!
ReplyDeleteHi Kish!....so, I do sort of have an accessories formula that I use day to day....it goes like this.
1. Always have an odd number of bracelets on your arm....never 2, 4, 6...you get the idea.
2. Only one arm gets to party at a time, the other arm can only have up to one bracelet.
3. If the outfit style is preppy or ladylike tone down the jewelry.....less is more for these two style types.
4. Never wear accessories that are too small for your frame. The larger you are, the larger your accessories should be.
That's pretty much it.....I hope this is helpful, but if you have anymore questions I'll be happy to pretend I know it all! Lol ;)
Why thank you Lydia ;)....I think I just discovered your style type....(ladylike/chic?)!
Thanks Annie ;)
Lol Chris....I am actually! ....and I'd love to help you pick out your clothes, shoot me an e-mail and we'll get you scheduled ;) Seriously, 50 can be a bit tricky. I would reccomend the Limited as a top choice for your age group. Just be careful about the skirt length......(I noticed some of their skirts were running a tad short this season).
Thanks Bella Style!....I think they rock too as a matter of fact (and I'm not going to pretend that the price tag didn't help for sure ;)
callandra-- i am loving your closet! i need to find me a good man to make me a closet. lol
ReplyDeletei love outfits #1,3,5 & 6!
outfit #1-- i love how you layered that sparkly tank with the vest. i been wanting to get a vest for summer and i love how you wore that combo!
#2 --so simple and so classy! i love that tank and neutral color tones in the outfit. the skirt looks so silky and romantic.
#3 -- the print of the blouse is so unique and also looks very sophisticated. i love the bib pearl necklace with it too!
#6 -- i love every item in that outfit, seriously! if you wear that dress again, i'd like to see the entirety of it please ;)
Great outfits! #1 would have to be my fave though!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I adore your closet. :]
I love the infinity charm necklace! Love your blog too and look forward to all your posts!
ReplyDeleteI love the After the Rain bracelet! Gorgeous and I could pair it with so many outfits. Great blog!
ReplyDeleteThank you Ping!...did I tell you that I'm addicted to sparkly tanks right now?...it's horrible. I want the one on sale at Ann Taylor and the the one they had at White House Black Market last month....somebody stop me!! Lol I am so sorry to say that I returned that black and white striped dress from Target after getting whistles and cat calls while walking to my car on Friday :( ....that kind of attention makes me so uncomfortable you know? I didn't see it available online anymore but I can pick it up for you if they still have it at the store I returned it to.....jlmk ;)
ReplyDeleteCallandra your hair in that last pic - love it! I just can't pick a favorite outfit. I love all of them. Don't be suprised if I end up pinning them all to pinterest ;)
ReplyDeleteI'll have to enter your giveaway from home - no FB at work ;)
Stella and Dot are taking over by storm LOL! So many giveaways and even locally I keep seeing the jewellery on blogs and some of my acquaintances have become stylists too!
I love the Serpent Bangle!

I can't get onto FB at work either Elaine :( Actually, I can't even leave comments on blogs that have disqus or wordpress either!...so annoying! Lol
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog today and I have really enjoyed reading it! Im not a petite girl (standing at nearly 6 foot 2) but I really love your styling choices and I know how difficult it can be to dress for your shape. Keep posting! I'll be checking back : )
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Nsaich, I love getting comments from readers ;) 6'2" sounds like a dream come true to me but I realize that it can be very hard to dress for your height as well! I look forward to hearing from you again :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Callandra!!!! This is a great formula (I like the whole odd-numbers only element).
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate you taking the time to provide that info!
No problem at all Kish ;)
