My serene look in these photos are so very deceiving because I'm feeling really frustrated right now.  I thought I would get up an hour early this morning and create a button for my blog that would be easy for other bloggers to grab and post on their side bars.  Three hours later I'm ready to throw the laptop across the room and jump energetically on top of it!  (Thankfully I haven't had any coffee yet this morning, so I probably won't  ;)  I'm off to the library to hopefully find a book on creating blog buttons for dummies ....if any exist.   If you guys have any tips for this woefully html illiterate blogger, please help!

Got a few strange looks at the office today, but where I live that just means I'm doing something right! Lol  The accessories really make this outfit.  Bought the scarf, necklace and both of the rings at F21.  Haven't seen them online lately, but they still had them in the store the last time I was there.

Fancy Pants

Didn't have time to post the outfit that I actually wore today, so here is an outfit from my "what to wear the next time Mr. PEMS wants to go to a rock concert" archive.  These are the only bejeweled / fancy jeans I own.....not sure why I'd need more than one pair really.  Bought at F21 3 years ago.  I've probably worn them twice since then........Note to self:  Get tickets to next show that comes to town ;)

New H&M Dress / Celebrity Style Types

I just bought this dress at H&M Saturday and thought it would be fun to do a style it five ways post. 

The first two pictures are so that you can get an idea of what the dress looks like on it's own.  Then I styled it five different ways according to different style types...(I added celebrity names just because it was so much fun ;)

Shopping Outfit

I haven't taken pictures of today's outfit yet, so here's the outfit I went shopping in Saturday.

The purpose of this outfit was to be warm, comfortable, cute and easy to get in and out of while going from dressing room to dressing room.

I can't wear a lot of jewelry while shopping.  I don't want to have to remove earrings, necklaces can get in the way of necklines and bracelets can get caught on clothing so I usually keep it pretty simple.

H&M and Ann Taylor Outlet Finds

So for Valentine's Day Mr. PEMS surprised me by suggesting we road trip to H&M!  The closest H&M store is two hours away.  This guy is so romantic, is it any wonder that I'm so crazy about him?!

I fell in love with this orange trench in a size 2 at H&M.......Obviously it runs a bit big.  I'm thinking I'll move the buttons over and have the sleeves shortened at the tailors.  But isn't it a beautiful color?

The route to H&M takes us right pass an outlet mall, so we stopped in at the Ann Taylor Outlet and found this fabulous two tone dress!

Check out the back.  This dress is definitely out of the ordinary...I love how different it is and look at the exposed zipper....love it!

Close up of the jewelry I used to glam it up.....and this pretty bright polish is a great reminder that spring is just around the corner ;)

I added a navy sweater topper for a more wintry look but I think this look will totally rock in the summer with some leopard print peep toe pumps as well.

I also found this beautiful maroon knit dress and with the in-store promotion plus a savings coupon, I was able to snag it for $18.00!  The price may have swayed me a tad, so if you guys think that it's not flattering please say so......I have 60 days to return it if need be.

Meet Juatina Daphine

Okay, her name isn't really Juatina Daphine, but it was going to be. Turns out my Mom had no idea that she was carrying twins until five minutes after my sister was born. I came as a bit of a shock to both my parents I can tell you, but no one was more grateful than Sissy that I made my entrance when I did!

Of course, once I was born my parents decided not to name Sissy Juatina (wah-tina) Daphine because they couldn't think of another name that rhymed with it for me.

That's right Sis........you are welcome! ;)

I was inspired to this outfit last night while checking out Cori's post from la vie petite!  I bought this sweater from New York & Co a few years ago because I loved the color so much......once I got it home, not so much on me.  Since then it hasn't got a whole lot of love.  Clinton warns us to beware of the condiment colors and he was so right!  I think I really like it styled with these colors though and I'm wondering if my tailor can shorten it and turn it into a cardi?  ....I do love the sleeves on it.  Have a great weekend dear friends!
